NRL Round 26 team lists and injury updates released

Official team lists and injury updates have been released for Round 26 of the 2026 NRL Telstra Premiership. Several key players are set to return, while others are sidelined due to injury.
Thursday Match: Broncos v Storm
The Brisbane Broncos are set to face the Melbourne Storm on Thursday at Suncorp Stadium. The Broncos’ coach, Michael Maguire, has maintained the same 19-man squad that secured a comeback victory in Canberra. Ben Hunt will again start at halfback, with Tom Duffy on the bench. Hayze Perham retains the No.1 jersey after his performance against the Raiders.
For the Storm, Jahrome Hughes has been named to return at halfback after being out for three games with a hamstring injury. Tyran Wishart will move to the centres, having played at No.7 last week. Jack Howarth has been stood down for surgery on a shoulder injury. Marion Seve joins the interchange after two games in NSW Cup, following an extended break due to a triceps injury.

The Broncos have won their last three matches against the Storm. However, the Storm hold a strong winning record at Suncorp Stadium. The Broncos have lost their last eight games at the venue.
Friday Matches: Sea Eagles, Dragons, Panthers, Bulldogs
The Manly Sea Eagles will play the St. George Illawarra Dragons at 4 Pines Park on Friday. Josh Feledy will start at centre for the Sea Eagles due to Tolu Koula being sidelined with an ankle injury. Onitoni Large has been added to the interchange and could make his NRL debut.
For the Dragons, Damien Cook moves into the starting hooker role following Jacob Liddle’s calf injury. Connor Muhleisen has been added to the bench for his first NRL game since Round 27, 2024.
Later on Friday, the Penrith Panthers will meet the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at CommBank Stadium. Jack Cole has been named in the No.6 jersey for the Panthers after Jack Cogger received a three-game suspension. Blaize Talagi and Jaxen Edgar have earned spots on the bench.
The Bulldogs see Enari Tuala return to the wing from a knee injury, replacing Johnathan Sua. Kurt Mann is sidelined with a groin injury, leading to Jack Underhill’s promotion to the bench. The club has experienced a Covid-19 outbreak, but it has not impacted the team selection.
Saturday Matches: Titans, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Dolphins
On Saturday, the Gold Coast Titans will host the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Cbus Super Stadium. Josh Patston is named to start on an edge for the Titans after Beau Fermor’s abdominal injury in Round 25. Patston himself is returning from a head knock.
The Rabbitohs will see Latrell Mitchell named in the No.19 jersey as an impact substitute, marking his return after missing 12 games due to nerve issues from a back injury. Jamie Humphreys (ankle) and Adam Elliott (groin) are also named to return. Jai Arrow, currently on 98 games for the club, has been named in the No.23 jersey at lock, with the NRL allowing an extra player and interchange for him to lead the team onto the field for the next two games.
The Sydney Roosters will play the Dolphins at Allianz Stadium. James Tedesco has been named at fullback, with Cody Ramsey moving to the bench. Tedesco has been managing an ankle injury, which has kept him out for three games. Coach Trent Robinson noted the injury was “more niggly than we thought.”
The official team lists provide a comprehensive overview of the squads for the upcoming matches in Round 26.
